How to Create Your Own Paper Flower Vase
Bring a little creativity and colour into your home with this charming paper craft activity. Perfect for kids and adults alike, this printable 3D flower vase is fun family activity
At Meri Meri, we’ve been creating beautiful paper goods for decades, so it’s no surprise that our founder was especially excited about this simple yet delightful craft. With just a few materials and a little imagination, you can create a beautiful paper flower vase that feels truly unique.
Gather your favourite colouring pencils or pens and enjoy designing your own vase and flowers. Once complete, display your creation at home or share it as a thoughtful handmade gift for a friend, family member or teacher.
You Will Need:
- Printer
- Lightweight card or paper
- Colouring pencils or pens
- Scissors
- Empty plastic drink bottle
- Glue stick or sticky tape
- Wooden skewer sticks or chopsticks (optional)
What to do…
1. Choose your favourite vase and flower design, then print it onto lightweight card or paper.
2. Have fun colouring the vase and flowers using pencils or pens.
3. Find a small empty plastic bottle. Remove the lid and carefully cut off the top section to create a wider opening. Ask an adult to help with this step if needed.
4. Cut out the vase design, fold along the join lines and secure it around the plastic bottle using glue or tape.
5. Carefully cut out the flowers. For extra sturdiness, attach each flower stem to a wooden skewer using tape (take care with the sharp end).
6. Arrange your flowers inside the bottle and create your own beautiful display.
7. Find the perfect place for your vase or give it as a thoughtful handmade gift to someone special.
We can’t wait to see your creations!
